Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a disorder of converting intentions into actions. It makes it hard to apply your abilities and skills consistently. It can make it really hard to pay attention, and makes it hard to get and stay organized. It affects your memory, your impulsivity, and your time management. Put another way, it makes it hard to get the right thing done at the right time, and it can really suck.

As if this wasn’t enough, it can bring with it other difficulties and problems. We look at people’s actions to figure out their intentions and character. So struggling to do tasks that need to be done, or failing to live up to your obligations, can negatively affect your relationships, your work, and, ultimately, your life. This oftentimes leads to depression, anxiety, and a decrease in your self-esteem. All of which feeds back into the struggle, making it even harder to manage your ADHD..

If any of this sounds like you, and you’re interested in limiting the impact ADHD has on your life, come talk to me. I can help you get some relief from your ADHD and also help with any of the other stuff that comes along with it.
